In Jan. when I started researching on Indian start ups, I thought of starting a blog. I did write 1 piece on blogger (reproduced here as the my first blog - "Landscape”) but i felt it was too one sided, what i wanted was a community based something to hang out, share, bounce ideas and have fun. Then i thought of coding such a site but a guy with a full time job and a family just has so much time, so it never happened...

Why Ning. I came across Ning a month back while reading archives of Techcrunch. This is a great framework for community based sites to take off the ground without any coding. I am still learning ways to customize it but it’s an idea well conceived and implemented....

So dive right in. So guys join in and lets make this an interesting, thought provoking and fun site for all of us. I need to find a widget for keeping coffee and beer (virtual off course) flowing to keep the adrenaline going....
